4 Bedroom House in Gloucester

THE HOME: This house was built in 2018 with every modern amenity and comfort for vacation life. Vaulted ceilings in the great room, chef’s kitchen with two sinks, air conditioning, high speed internet, Weber gas grill, even a wine refrigerator! Home boasts two separate family rooms with large screen SmartTV’s for upstairs downstairs movie watching and relaxation - expansive deck overlooking entirety of the Ipswich Bay. The house is completely powered by SOLAR panels (with backup to the electric grid).
Upstairs has two bedrooms: master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk-in closet. Small bedroom or office, daybed with trundle, across the hall from half bath and laundry room. Great room includes the kitchen, island, dining area, and a living space with game area and SmartTV with Comcast Xfinity and access to Hulu/Netflix/Amazon streaming services… All with expansive 180 degree views of the Bay (somewhat limited by trees in the summer months).
Downstairs has two bedrooms: a second master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk in closet. Second bedroom “Bunk Room” has two bunk beds (both twin over full size mattresses!), walk in closet and full bath with tub for bathing the kids. The downstairs family room also has a living area with 55” Flat screen SmartTV with same access as upstairs. Pack&Play, toys and games are also available on site.
EXTERIOR: The deck and master bedroom upstairs bedrooms have stunning water views; minimal trees obstruct but provide comfortable shade for relaxation and summer enjoyment.
50 yards away are two completely private, quiet, beaches that are shared with the estate. One is soft white sand (for high tide), one is expansive soft grey sand (for low tide). Two tennis courts are also shared with the estate and available for use, as well as a full children’s playground with slides, swings, and shade for wearing out the little ones!
An exceptional spot for families (especially young children) who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, for private kayak/paddle boarding in the cool Ipswich Bay! Bring your own sporting gear (Ipswich Bay is fabulous for water sports) – maybe even catch a fish. 2 adult stand up paddle board, 1 medium size kayak and 2 kid's kayaks are available for use at the house. House has a heated outdoor shower and hose for washing off sand.
THE AREA: Charming/Historic Downtown Gloucester is just a 10 min drive (4 miles). There are whale watching, fishing trips, lots of great seafood restaurants, famous bars, and fun downtown markets!
Down the road there are stunning public quarries. Warm for swimming and beautiful for hiking!
The famous Market Restaurant is 1 mile walk, in Annisquam… Make sure you call for reservations, books up weeks in advance!

Summary: We came in for the marathon and wanted to stay closer to the water and away from the city to try something different. This house was absolutely perfect for a family. With 4 bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen with everything you need, and a view of the Ocean you couldn't ask for anything better. The host Meakin was extremely accessible and answered all of our questions.

Summary: Great house; great location. Our week-long stay to visit family over Christmas was almost perfect. We are particular about the properties we select and this home did not disappoint. The location was convenient with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed taking walks throughout the property and along the shoreline. The home was spacious and had a great layout. It was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing. Beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Summary: We rented this property for our family for our son's wedding. You have a view of the water and the sunlight streams in. It is absolutely beautiful. There is a large outdoor deck, perfect for the outside living we love. The space was perfect for our two families plus my mom. We didn't get a chance to use all the extras (kayaks, tennis courts, etc.), but we would love to come back sometime and do so. Meakin was very responsive to the few requests we had. We definitely recommend this beautiful spot!

Summary: We were so happy to find this property for 7 of us to stay in while visiting Gloucester for a wedding! The view of Ipswich Bay from the great room was fantastic, and we loved the open floor plan for the kitchen/dining/great room so we could all hang out together. The 3 full bathrooms were excellent and much needed for 7 adults to get ready to attend a wedding. Highly recommended for those visiting Gloucester, MA in the future!

Summary: Great house for anyone looking for easy beach access, gorgeous sunset views. Comfortable outdoor porch, great for relaxing and outdoor meals. Summary: Haze Gray was a perfect house for our family of active adults and small children. The private beach is less than a 5 min walk with small waves and great sand castle- building space. Lovely walking paths nearby with magnificent views. Sunset views from the deck were a treat. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with all tools for cooking and grilling. Loved it!
